Selenite Polished Wand from Morocco. These hand-crafted carved wands are an excellent addition to any collection or display. They are available in either a double polished end or a single-point end.
Selenite is a transparent to translucent variety of the mineral gypsum, known for its soft, pearly luster and naturally forming in long, striated crystals or satin-like masses. With a Mohs hardness of just 2, it is very soft and should be handled with care, as it can be easily scratched or damaged by water. Selenite is commonly found in sedimentary environments and is primarily sourced from Mexico, Morocco, and the United States. Its clean, elegant appearance makes it popular in both decorative pieces and mineral collections.
