Amber is the fossilized resin of ancient trees. Amber fossilizes over many centuries and becomes hard and sturdy, often containing inclusions of prehistoric insects and plants. Amber has been referenced in Greek Mythology, fashioned into jewelry, and cherished by ancient cultures around the world for thousands of years.
